Finally, fall . . .
It seemed that the summer drought was going to be a year-round event here in the Piedmont, but finally, a month or two late, autumn seems to be making its belated appearance: temperatures under 90, rain on occasion, etc.
Life goes well, ever more cybernetic, but hey . . .My adorable grandson grows more so every day; he is going to be a multi-sport athlete by the time he's three and a half! I love being able to spend time with him regularly.
At 59, I managed NOT to embarrass myself last month during an Ultimate Frisbee demo in front of hundreds of UNCG soccer fans (no, no--it was at half-time!). So life is good. I may even get to play a bit this weekend in our local tournament. We shall see. The team will have to be WAY ahead or WAY behind, I think. . . . (;->>
