The fall is UNDERWAY
I appear to have survived the first few weeks of my 63rd semester here at UNC Greensboro. The toughest part was my fretting over a group of Theatre classes for which I had to do some library instruction. It actually, I believe, gave me a stomach ache that has yet to clear up (6 weeks in). But of course, the sessions in fact went just fine--I have a thank-you note from the professor to prove it!
The other stressor these days is bathroom remodeling. Although we have a second full bath upstairs, life is much more vexing when the familiar tub is not available and there's a hole in the floor where the toilet used to be! It will be gorgeous when it is completed: beautiful tile where there was plastic (cracked) and linoleum (getting stained), beadboard and blue paint where there was (an apparently inadequate) wallpaper choice. Thank goodness Pam's son (and friends) are doing the work. but we have had a couple of injuries [and a trip to emergency care] so far. Nail guns and Exacto knives are two tools I will be staying away from the rest of my natural life.
